Network Engineer

The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, securing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure. The role includes managing routing and switching environments, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, WAN connectivity, and network security controls while ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability across customer and internal environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN concentrators, and wireless solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and internet connectivity.
• Configure and support routing and switching technologies, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and related protocols.
  Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability using network monitoring tools
• Diagnose and resolve network outages, latency issues, packet loss, and security incidents.
• Configure and maintain firewall policies, network segmentation, IDS/IPS solutions, and access controls.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, hardware replacements, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, topology diagrams, inventory records, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement network security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical support during incidents, planned maintenance, and infrastructure projects.

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, Juniper, or similar enterprise networking solutions.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of network security principles and firewall management.
